He is survived by: his wife Annie Cox; his children, Donna Cox of Wake Forest and Derrick Cox (Felicia) of Raleigh; his siblings, Joseph Cox of Kinston, Bernard Cox (Connie) of Raleigh, Lynwood Cox of Newton Grove and Renita Cox of Cary; and his grandchildren, James "Tray", Isaiah, Leah, Jeriah, Elijah and Neriah. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
