She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Hughes and Nora Gardner Hughes; her husband James Perkins; and her children, Danny Hughes, Dawn Perkins and Lisa Shook.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Hughes of Newton and Casey Perkins. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
