He is survived by : his parents, Jerry Shepherd and Terry Shepherd of Newton; his sister Tera Alcala (Joe) of Oviedo, FL; his nephews, Eli and John Alcala; his uncles, Chip Sain (Camille) and Mark Bumgarner of Newton; his cousins, Ike and Beatrice Sain; and his grandmother Carol Sain of Vale, NC.
