Charles Frederick Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Frederick (Newton, North Carolina), born in Vincentown, New Jersey, who passed away on February 25, 2022 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Major and Ella Mingin Major; his wife Evelyn D. Major; his siblings, Joe, Harry, Norman, Russell, George, Beatrice, Elizabeth and Nancy; his grandson Charles Gauntt; and his son-in-law Phillip Hickey.

He is survived by : his daughters, Darlene Knight (Jerry) of Conover, NC, Susan Reid (Darrell) of Conover, NC, Kimberly Major of Newton, NC and Shirley Hickey of Harrodsburg, KY. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
