It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenda Pope Shook of Newton, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Tate William Pope and Gladys Crawford Pope; her husband Joe Ray Shook; her grandson Nathan Shook; and her sisters, Phyllis Neuen and Jean Miller.
She is survived by : her children, Kevin Joe Shook (Robin Bowman) and Anita Campbell (Lynn); her brother Todd Pope (Rita); her grandchildren, Tyre Shook, Nash Shook, Zachery Shook, Andrew Danner and Hayden Swindle; and her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer White, Bekka Swindle, Cody Swindle and Timmy Bean.
