It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Eller of Newton, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Jackson Smith and Ellen Peavy Smith; her husband A. C. Eller; and her son Chris Eller. She is survived by : her daughters, Darlene Pipes (Billy) and Diane Holt of Hickory; her grandchildren, Daren Blankenship (Tammy) of New York, Melody Laws of Conover, Heather Lawson (Tom) of South Carolina, Justin Eller (Kristin) of Hickory and Amber Eller; and her sister Leola Beaty of Cramerton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to Hickory Pentecostal Holiness Church at 261 21st SE, Hickory NC 28602.
