She was predeceased by: her parents, Cofford Thompson and Martha Manning Thompson; her husband Leonard "Boot" Coulter; her sons, Leonard Coulter, Jr., Ronnie Gene Coulter, Keith Eric Coulter and Scottie Ray Coulter; her children-in-law, Robert Abernathy and Diane R. Coulter; and her grandchildren, Caitlyn Farley and Ezekiel Squarles.
She is survived by: her daughter Toni Abernathy of Newton; her grandchildren, Bryant Coulter, Bradley Coulter, Bradley Abernathy, Maria Coulter, Sonya Coulter and Cynthia Davis (Roger); her great grandchild Keygona Brown (Jimmy) of Hickory; her sister Maggie Hewie; and her sibling's children, Deborah S. Bristow and Albert Coulter. She is also survived by 13 Great grandchildren and 18 Great Great grandchildren.
