She was predeceased by: her husband Jearl Stamey; her mother Evelyn Butts; her sons, Andy Swindle and Brian Swindle; her great grandchild Katlyn; and her great-grandbaby Angel.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Swindle (Glenda), Anita Swindle and Windy Baxter (Michael Baxter); and her siblings, Richard James (Patsy), Gary James (Della), Chuck Butts (Carrie), Ann Barga and Betty Sullivan (Jeff). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Celebration Center at Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658).
