She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lee Martin and Frances Johnson Martin; her siblings, Carol Sparks and Bobby Martin; and her brother-in-law Johnny Callaway.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin; her sons, Tim (Ana) of Richmond, VA and Jonathan (Pat) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Christopher of Alexandria, VA, Albert of Norfolk, VA, Rebekah of Brooklyn, NY and Wil of Winston-Salem; her sisters, Faye Sparks (Donald) of Boomer, NC, Jenny Lyles (Wayne) of State Road, NC and Judy Callaway of Statesville, NC; and her sister-in-law Alma Martin of Ronda, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (3656 Mountain View Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
