We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2023, at the age of 90, Carrie Lee Pennington Johnson of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Davie Pennington and Martha Church Pennington; her husband John Iredell Johnson; and her siblings, Mable Pennington Owens, Lillie Mae Halsey, Loretta "Dollie" Pennington Redmond, John Ralph Pennington, Junior Ross Pennington, George Robert Pennington and Lester Lee "Hank" Pennington.
She is survived by : her children, James Edward Johnson (Joyce) of Wilkesboro and Teresa Johnson Bowers (William) of Hays; her grandchildren, Jaime Johnson Pedersen (Troy) of Greenville, SC, John Claude Bowers of Hays and Cynthia Augusta Bowers Early (Liam) of Matthews; and her great grandchild Alasdair Cillian Early of Matthews.
