He is survived by: his girlfriend India Marie Wheeler of North Wilkesboro; his brothers, Lloyd Harold Burgess, Jr. of North Wilkesboro and Charles Eugene Burgess of Asheville; his siblings' children, Wesley Charles Burgess (Theresia) of North Wilkesboro, Miranda Nicole Burgess of Millers Creek, Kasey Deann Burgess and Erica Lynn Mongold of North Wilkesboro; and his aunt Ida Mae Nichols of North Wilkesboro.
