With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Everette James Owens Sr. of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Pearl and Ethel Elizabeth Garris Owens; and his siblings, Betty Brock, Raymond and Phillip Owens.

He is survived by : his children, Everette Owens, Jr. (Anna) of Newton, Gina Holloway (Frankie) of Hays and Dina Gibson of Charleston; his brother Roy Owens of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Shena Owens, Stephanie Owens, Selena Morrison, Brian Holloway, Kim Holloway Call, Heather Holloway, Cody Gibson and Austin Gibson; his great grandchildren, Lydia Owens and Bailey Morrison; his sister-in-law Willa Dean Owens; his niece Cindy Owens Garrett (William); and his nephews, Tim Brock, Timmy Brock, Bradley Brock, Cody Brock and Kenny Brock.
