He was predeceased by : his parents, Hobert Bell and Mary Lou Owens Bell; and his siblings, Rachel Mae Shepherd and Jimmie Boyd Bell. He is survived by : his nieces and nephews, Timothy "Michael" Shepherd (Christy), Donald "Ray" Shepherd, Jr. of North Wilkesboro, Christopher Shepherd of North Wilkesboro, Donna Shepherd Nicholson of Wilkesboro, Lisa Diane Williams (Alan) of North Wilkesboro and Rachel Diane Dixon (Zach) of Colorado; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Katherine Williams of North Wilkeboro, Cassie Shepherd of North Wilkesboro, Khloe Shepherd of Colorado, Rozilyn Dixon of Colorado, Joseph Shepherd (Megan) of North Wilkesboro and Korbyn Dixon of Colorado.
