With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Orville Lee Bell of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Bell and Louvenia Lusk Bell; and his siblings, William Lane, Ruby Lane, Elzie Lane, Alexander Lane, Paris Lane, Betty Bell, Irene Lane and Ona Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Lola Bell; and his children, Vicky Bell Green (Teddy) of West Virginia, Orville Lee Bell II of Texas, Anna Bell Burk (Joey) of Missouri, Sheila Bumgarner (Keith) of North Wilkesboro and Tina Heslip of Missouri. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Mountlawn Memorial Park (196 Fan Key Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
