It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Lail Kilby (North Wilkesboro, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Lail and Oveda Lail; and her siblings, Emmitt, Sherman Lail and Sarah Carpenter.

She is survived by : her husband Mason Kilby; her daughters, Lisa Ramsey (Tim) and Donna Matava (Willi); her grandchildren, Courtney, Landon and Briana; and her brother Tom Lail (Patsy). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Piney Grove Baptist Church (2583 Absher Rd, Traphill, NC 28685). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
