She was predeceased by : her parents, Dewitt Warren and Gradie Rhoda Hendren Souther; her husband Wayne Lewis Minton; and her brothers, Earl Gene Souther and Thomas Souther.

She is survived by : her son Bobby Minton (Melissa Owens) of North Wilkesboro; her brother Roland Souther (Donna) of North Wilkesboro; and her sister-in-law Diane Souther of Wilkesboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (496 Reservoir Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
