He is survived by: his spouse Kay Holman Gilreath; his daughter Dee Dee Triplett (Richie) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Kaleigh Jones (Alex) of Lenoir, Jonathan Triplett (Nyra) of Lenoir, Makiah Triplett of Lenoir, Parker and Olivia Gilreath of Morganton; his great grandchildren, Indy Jones and Flynn Jones; and his siblings, Debbie Bowers (Mike) of North Wilkesboro, Jimmy Gilreath (Majorie) of Hays and Jerry Gilreath (Virginia) of North Wilkesboro.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mountlawn Memorial Park (196 Fan Key Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
