In the sacred silence of farewell, Jerry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Haywood Russell and Nell Burr Russell. He is survived by: his wife Madeline Little Russell; his children, Matt Russell (Kelly) of Norwood and Meredith Lowder (Ken, Jr.) of Norwood; and his grandchildren, Bailey Russell, Karley Hurley (Dustin), Matthew Russell, Summer Lowder and Russell Lowder.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Silver Springs Baptist Church (16072 NC-138, Norwood, NC 28128).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Silver Springs Baptist Church to be utilized to purchase Bibles through Gideons International.
