She was predeceased by: her significant other Bill; her parents, John Elmer and Vera Juanita Pennington; and her siblings, Marie Cary, Earnestine Hindman, Violet Early, Marion Schlachter, Thelma Laird, Calvin Pennington, Wesley Pennington and Norman Pennington.
She is survived by: her children, John Scott Nicholls (Karen) and Sheila Nicholls Crider (John); her grandchildren, Tiffany Nicholls Hirsch (Matt), Andrew Lamont (Ashley), Elizabeth Lamont Berry (Cody) and Austin Nicholls; and her great grandchildren, Greyson Thomas Hirsch and Levi Scott Hirsch.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ocean View United Methodist Church (8400 E Oak Island Dr, Oak Island, NC 28465).
