He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Hawes, Jr. and Margaret Annette Davis Hawes. He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Hawes Blackwell (Joe), Roger Davis Hawes and Virginia Hawes Gallien; and his siblings' children, McCotta Elizabeth Blackwell, Shawn David Gallien and Cody Marks.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
