She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Alton Smith and Frances Oliver Smith; and her brother Alton Oliver Smith. She is survived by : her husband Jerry Harrington; her sister Peggy Shaver (Brent) of Holden Beach; her nephews, Tony Smith (Diann), Scott Smith (Condon), Eric Smith, Steven Shaver (Tiffaney), Jordan Shaver (Kate) and Jay Shaver; and her stepchildren, Cathy Stephenson (Phillip) and Scott Harrington of South Carolina. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
