He was predeceased by: his parents, Brady Turner and Ruth Burleyson Turner; his wife Cathy; and his brothers, Larry and Gary Turner.
He is survived by: his children, David (Nina) of Albemarle, Melissa Harwood (Jerry Wayne) of Holden Beach and Kayla of Albemarle; his sisters, Nancy Nichols (Ron) of High Point and Cynthia of York, SC.; and his grandchildren, Justin, Hailey, Jessica and Andy.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Oakboro First Baptist Church.
