She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Smith Cotten and George Cotten. She is survived by: her children, Donald L. Hunt (Lois) of Oxford and Peggie H. Cooper of Oxford; and her sisters, Mozell Owens of Stovall, Norvara Williams of Greensboro, Judy Burwell of Oxford and Vivian Herndon of Greensboro. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home Chapel (3724 Salem Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (2213 Enon Rd, Oxford, NC 27565).
