She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Thomas Newton and Flora Elizabeth Critcher; her husbands, Macy K. Watson, Vernon Strother and William B. Newsome; and her siblings, Mattie Lee Newton, Ruby Elizabeth Newton, Oliver Vance Newton (Bud), Robert Mitchell Newton, Stewart Edward Newton and Doris Louise Newton.

She is survived by : her children, Ernestine Parrott, Dianne Young (Ashton) and Jerry Watson; her grandchildren, Jason Watson (Inge), Tommy Watson, Sherri Frazier (Frank), Cynthia Scott (Roy) and Amanda Martin (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Mitchell Frazier (Brittany), Chad Frazier (Morgan), Haylee Martin and Jacob Martin; and her great great grandchildren, Gracen, Camden and Luke. She is also survived by many friends and an extended family.

Flowers are welcomed or the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to Hester Baptist Church's Outreach Fund, to promote the word of God.
