With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Jones (Pantego, North Carolina), born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Lupton and Margaret Wilson Lupton; and her former life partner R. Beasley Jones, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Susan Nash Jones Skinner of Greenville, Robert B. Jones Jr. of Richmond, Orville C. Jones III of Belhaven and Tana Jones (Dan Dwyer) of Seattle; her grandchildren, Reid Mizelle (Kayla), Brett Mizelle, Mara and Molly Dwyer; her great grandchildren, Ryder and Kora Mizelle; her sister Mardge Etta Lupton Bryant (George Bryant III) of Virginia Beach, VA; and her close friend Martha.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions be made to Pantego Christian Church, c/o Wayne Windley, P.O. Box 141, Pantego, NC 27860.
