He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Luther and Mary Adeline Willis McEachern; and his siblings, John McEachern, James Luther McEachern, Teresa Ann McEachern, Myrtle McEachern and Ethel Drummond.
He is survived by: his brother Roosevelt McEachern; his children, Alex McEachern, Jr., Jasper McEachern, Lydell McEachern, Mark McEachern and Sheila Smallwood; and his sisters-in-law, Ruby Fisher of Landover, Dorothy Johnson of Landover, Vina McEachern of North Carolina and Barbara McEachern of Maryland.
