We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2019, at the age of 70, Ellen Newsome Horne (Peachland, North Carolina), born in Monroe, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Myrtle Godwin and Winfred Will Newsome; her husband Roy Lynn Horne; and her sister Alice Dean Newsome. She is survived by : her sons, Dennis Horne (Heather) of Wadesboro and Tony Horne (Kelly) of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Beau of Wadesboro, Maggie of Wadesboro, Katie of Wadesboro and Natalie Horne of Wadesboro; her sister Edith N. Hinson (Milton) of Marshville; and her brother-in-law Jimmie Horne (Sandra). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
