It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion Lovelace (Pelham, North Carolina), born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Emerson and Fannie Emerson Lovelace; her husband James Sampson Lovelace; and her siblings, Edward Emerson, Giles Emerson, Stella Oakes, Elmer Emerson, Mary Emerson and Thelma Bean.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Webb, Carolyn Cassidy (Mickey), Peggy Smith, Tammy Collins (Mike "Stupid"), Larry Lovelace (Bobbie) and Kenneth Lovelace (Angela); and her brother Louis Emerson. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Faith Church Ministries, 715 Holland Rd., Danville, VA.
