He was predeceased by : his father Frederick Arlen Amos. He is survived by : his mother Nellie Tate Amos; his wife Donna Jones Amos; his children, Jonathan Tyler Amos (Amanda), Jacob Arlen Amos (Courtney) and Jacqueline Amos Aldridge (Tyler); his grandchildren, Jonathan Tyler Amos, Jr., Asher Paul Aldridge and Emory Jude Aldridge; and his brothers, Freddie Amos and Steven Amos.
