It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Locklear Jr. (Pembroke, North Carolina), who passed away on May 26, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ernest Locklear, Francis Lowery and Stella Collins; and his sons, Master John Gary Locklear and Dwayne Locklear.
He is survived by: his wife Lora B. Locklear; his children, John Junior Locklear, III (Melissa) of Pembroke, Victor Locklear (Cindy) of Maxton, Darlene Collins (Michael) of Pembroke, Rita L. Lisenby (Tim) and Harley Locklear of Maxton; his siblings, Melvin Locklear (Teresa) of Pembroke, Alicia Lowry (Praford), Evelyn Dial (Abram) of Maxton, Patricia Harris, Peggy Locklear of Pembroke, Ann Hardin and Sue Hardin (Roger) of Lumberton; his grandchildren, Allan Collins (Megan L.), Jonathan Collins (Megan D.), Jody Locklear, Kalin Collins, Jaeline Locklear, Travis Lisenby, Timothy Lisenby, Amber Lisenby, Brittany Locklear, Erickson Locklear (Sierra), Kyle Locklear, Bethany Locklear and Victoria Locklear; and his brother-in-law Roy Collins. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
