She was predeceased by : her parents, William "Gump" Andrew and Lillie Mae Holloman Kornegay; and her siblings, William Brice Kornegay, Arthur Ray Kornegay and Linda Diane Kornegay.

She is survived by : her husband Roland Morris Pollock; her children, James Woodard of Michigan and Christine Cribb (Steve) of Washington State; her brothers, Milton A. Kornegay (Dianne) of Goldsboro and Gary Tommy Kornegay (Angie Blake) of Jacksonville, NC; her sister-in-law Margaret Kornegay of Goldsboro; and her pet Muffin. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
