We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Glenda Faye Gilley Gravitte (Pilot Mountain, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, John William and Ida Rosella Gilley (Brinkley); her children, Robert Jones (Paula), Mark Allen, Gregory "Greg" Hylton (Angie), Dr. John Lucas "Luke" Gravitte (Mandy), Rosela Amanda Gravitte Fretwell (Scott) and Cranford Aaron; her grandchildren, Dr. Laura Phelps, Ashley Baity, Mark Jr., Thomas, Tyler, Taylor, Aaron and Ellison; her cousin Andy'; her child Gilley; and her siblings, Earlie, Cecil, Melverine Cooke, Ray, Wade, Rex, Caleb Reid (C. R.) and Hazel Mozelle. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Simmons Family Cemetery (850 W Main St, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041).
