She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Nunn Williams Rouse and Randall Rex Rouse, Sr. of Raleigh; and her brother Rex Rouse of Eden, NC.. She is survived by: her husband John Henry Clarke, Jr.; her daughter Jessica Clarke Robles (late Oscar) of Annapolis, MD; her grandchildren, Camila and Dylan; her son John Randall Rouse Clarke (Colleen) of Whitehouse Station, NJ; her grandchildren, J. R. and Mary Grace; her sister Gaille Rouse Smith (late Houston); her sibling's children, Edward (Susan), Kim Smith, Carrie Williams Rouse Witter (Gary), Rebecca Witter-Visser (Theo) and Matthew Witter (Courtney); her sister-in-law Judy Grogan Rouse; her nephew Victor Rouse (Deanna); her siblings-in-law, Juanita Lanning (Pete), James Clarke and Joel Clarke (Jacqueline); and her niece Katherine Grace.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sea Episcopal Church (920 Salter Path Rd, Indian Beach, NC 28575). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Westview Cemetery (2681 Hillcrest Rd, Kinston, NC 28504).
