He enjoyed golfing, watching sports, traveling, and cooking but most of all, time with his family.He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Patricia Murphy; three daughters, Janice Williams (Kraig) of NJ, Susan Scully (Jason) of OR and Barbara Murphy of NC; two brothers, Robert Murphy (Ann) of ME and Stuart Murphy (Nancy) of MA; sister-in-law, Nancy Norton (Jerry) of NC; one granddaughter, Rebecca; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.A private service will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Edmond's name may be made to:The Tin Whistles Scholarship Foundation 5 Dawn Road - Suite 4 Pinehurst, NC 28374 or Brevard Music Center Scholarship Fund.
