It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ervin Josiah Hamme (Pinehurst, North Carolina), born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 26, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Josiah Jacob; and his siblings, Lawrence Hamme, Harold Hamme and Miriam Houser. He is survived by: his parent Sarah Smith Hamme; his wife Eleanor Parsons Hamme; his children, Gary Hamme (Lisa) of Leonia and Denise Wallace of Pinehurst; and also, Christy Wallace Chapman (Phillip) of Charlotte, NC, Alex Hamme and Dylan Hamme of Leonia, NJ. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held 3PM, Sunday, May 27th 2018 at the Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the NC State Veterans home in Fayetteville, NC.
