She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Derrick Gaines (Juanessa) and Alisia Baker (David); her father Sandy George Gaines, Sr; her siblings, Carol Blackmon, Mary Williams (Norman), Richard Gaines (Pat), Roscoe Ray, Thomas Ray (Angie) and Jasper Ray; and her aunts, Mildred Davis and Mae Gaines. She was also cherished by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
