Most of all, she enjoyed playing with her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lynn Paul Mellus; two children, Sarah Catherine Walker (Charles) and Joshua Kenneth Mellus (Teela); brother, Charles E. Decker; sister, Judith McCumber; she is also survived by her three grandchildren, Ryan, Avery, and Collin Walker.A memorial service will be held at a later date in June.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Women of the Pines PO Box 4871 Pinehurst, NC 28374-4871 or the American Cancer Society.
