He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Canterino. He is survived by: his spouse Conchetta "Connie" Canterino (Campione); his children, Cathy Canterino and Joseph Canterino, Jr.; his wife Lee Canterino of Long Island; his grandchildren, Michael Wolfe, Jacqueline, Joseph, Dominic, Christina and Michael Canterino; his sister Linda Kadel; his parent Edna Canterino (Emerson); and also Christopher Canterino of Long Island.
He kept himself busy playing golf and working at the FirstHealth Medical Center in Pinehurst.A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 3:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 200 Dundee Rd. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the mass from 1:30-3:00 P.M.Donations in Joseph's memory may be made to the Hospice Foundation of FirstHealth, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
