She was predeceased by: her husband William West Bartholomew; her former husband William Baker; and her children, James Randolph Bartholomew and Virginia Carlsen. She is survived by: her children, Hollie Thomson and Barbara Sidway. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
LaVerne and Bill moved to Southern Pines in 1971.She was preceded in death by her husband, William West Bartholomew (March 7, 1981) and her second husband, William Baker (1989) ; one son, James Randolph Bartholomew (June 1, 2008 and one daughter, Virginia Carlsen (February 5, 2018).She is survived by two children, Hollie Thomson and Barbara Sidway; also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.No services will be planned at this time.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army- Southern Territory Headquarters 1424 Northeast Expressway, Atlanta, Georgia 30329.
