She was predeceased by: her parent Sam Amico. She is survived by: her parent Mary Alice Way Austen; her siblings, Kenneth Austen, Robert Austen, Alice Carpenter and Margaret Carroll; her great-niece Hazel Jane Austen; and her aunt Lois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Lois recommended that family and friends use the money to take their spouse, significant other or friends to dinner and pause a minute at that dinner to reflect on how much Lois enjoyed knowing them over the years.
