He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gibson Ritter; his children, Beverly Ritter Farvour (John) of Springfield, KY and Mike Ritter (Rebecca) of Holly Springs, NC; his brothers, Eli Whitney Ritter, Jr. of Asheboro, NC and Bobby Ritter of West End, NC; and his grandchildren, Crystal, Amber, Aaron, Ashley, Vincent, Keely, Hayley, Aimee, Brock and Kendall. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Middlecross Baptist Church, 440 Lucas Rd., West End, NC 27376.
