It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paquita Rivera McCreery of Pinehurst, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Rivera and Juanita Rotger Rivera; her husband Bill McCreery; her son-in-law Billy Creech; and her brothers, Gilbert Rivera and Jose Antony "Pepe" Velez.
She is survived by: her children, William J. McCreery III (Susan), Tina M. Creech and Michael P. McCreery (Judy); her sister Maria Fields; her grandchildren, Kaley (Josh), Megan, Samantha (Matt), Casey, Ashley and Scotty (Gabi); and her great grandchildren, Maya, Eli, Jade, Madison and Avery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boles Funeral Home Chapel (425 W Pennsylvania Ave, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations for First Health Hospice in memory of Paquita McCreery.
