He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Phyllis H. Frey, Betty Riddle and Margarette Smith; his sons, Rev. Phillip E Hurley (Melinda) of Ypsilanti, MI, Kennith D Hurley of St Mary and Mark R Curry (Jackie) of Pinehurst, NC.; and his grandchildren, Kelsy Marie Hurley, Erica Janine Hurley, Brianna Hurley, Cameron Curry, Bethany Hurley and Zachary Curry.
