It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Stanley Viall (Pinehurst, North Carolina), born in Southern Pines, North Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his great-grandparent Philander Pond; his grandfather Nathaniel Viall; his brother Bill; his father Bill; his children, Robin Viall Calcutt of Southern Pines, Martha Viall of Greensboro, Russell Viall of Valley View, Texas. and Amy; his granddaughters, Chloe, Anna Calcutt and Shelby Sadler (Mickel); his daughters, Ella, Gretchen and Norah; his sisters-in-law, Pauline Strickland (Bobby) and Gladys Royal; and also, Randy Calcutt and Shannon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life is scheduled for 2 p. m. Wednesday, October 10, at the Community Presbyterian Church, in Pinehurst N. C, with a reception following at the church in the Fanny B Grey room. On behalf our father, the family extends their sincere appreciation for the many prayers, the dedication and support of his loving caregivers, friends.
