She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Warren and Glennie Crabtree Warren; her husband Charles Edward Swaringen; her brother Charles Clarence Warren; and her grandson Blake Edward Lawrence.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Rose Forrest (Frank) of Waxhaw, NC, Kathy Anne Lawrence of Elizabeth City, NC, Allan Swaringen (Sue) of Glenview and Robert W. Swaringen of Charlotte, NC; and her grandchildren, Frank M. Forrest, Heather Williams (Paul), Rachal Winterburn (Ron), Alana Swaringen, Chase Swaringen, Will Swaringen and Laura Swaringen. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and many friends.
