He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Blanchard and Eleanor Harvey Blanchard. He is survived by: his wife Kay Carlyle Blanchard; his children, Stephen Blanchard, Jr. (Laura) of Kansas, Shannon Kleweno (Mark) of Kansas, Matthew Eakes (Lisa) of Florida and Mark Eakes (Janet) of North Carolina; his siblings, Carolyn Cochran of Illinois and Jeffrey Blanchard of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Gunner Blanchard, Gavin Blanchard, Braiden Blanchard, Chandler Eakes, Cameron Eakes, Ella Eakes and Alice Leighton.
