He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Verna Kodzai (Kapenzi); his children, Tendai Kodzai (Liz), William Kodzai, Jr. (Za), Don Kodzai and Dale Kodzai; his grandchildren, Shamiso, Niasha, Kealan, Yana, Leah, Langston and Kirm Kodzai; his great grandchildren, Kyree Shankle and Karlie Kodzai; and his sibling Emily Kodzai.
