It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Thigpen Drake (Pinetops, North Carolina), who passed away on February 21, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Wright Wiggins Walston and Margaret Corbett Walston; her husbands, William Thigpen and Allen Drake; her siblings, Maggie Mae May, Mary Alice Weaver, Lois Phillips, Larry Walston, Claude Walston and Turner Walston; her daughter Mary Margaret Lynn; and her grandson Timmy Lynn (Angel).
