He was predeceased by: his son Dwayne Chapman; and his brothers, John Chapman and Charles Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Sue Lee Chapman; his stepchildren, Cynthia Viverette (Robert) and Brian Butler (Kim); his grandchildren, Tyler Butler, Haylee Butler and Bentley Butler; his sisters, Jean Allen of Tarboro, Faye Heath (Lynwood) of Neptune Beach, Sue Jones of Tarboro and Ruby Lane Stroup (Cookie); his husband Marlon of Tarboro; his daughter Pam Webb; his granddaughter Dawn Jones (Michael); and his daughter Lindsay. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
