She was predeceased by: her father Francis Dunn. She is survived by: her mother Mabel Bunting Dunn; her husband Phil Carlton; her daughters, Deanna Drescher (John) of Raleigh and Elizabeth Trathen (Marcus) of Raleigh; and her brother Marshall Dunn (Judy). She is also survived by several uncles and cousins.
